FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment, which enables to study the laws of burning powders and solid fuels under conditions of increasing pressure. Invention refers to a manometric bomb containing a body made of two cylinders with interference inserted one into the other, an igniting and measuring spacer and a heating unit. Latter is made in the form of electric spiral, one end of which is connected to insulated electric lead, the second end – to metal pin of heating spacer. Electrospiral arranged between fiberglass covers is placed on metal case closed by fluoroplastic disk. In the cylindrical part of the body there fixed is a threaded nozzle with a gas pressure measuring sensor installed in it.
EFFECT: complex measurement of combustion rate of solid-fuel samples at high temperature and pressure with specified accuracy when preparing samples in room temperature conditions, higher safety of equipment and efficiency of operations.
