SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drier comprising an ionizing system and a heater, wherein the ionizing system comprises an ion-generating electrode, and the ion-generating electrode extends over the outer periphery of the heater. Ion-generating electrode can pass along the heater to the downstream end of the heater. Ion-generating electrode can pass along the heater from the upstream end of the heater. Heater can have a generally cylindrical shape, wherein the ion-generating electrode passes along the outer surface of the heater in the radial direction. Ion-generating electrode can have a first portion which extends along the first axis along the outer periphery of the heater. Ion-generating electrode can have a second portion which extends along the second axis, the second portion extending radially inward from the outer periphery of the heater.
EFFECT: disclosed drier containing ionizing system.
