FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical surveillance in low-light conditions. Infrared night vision system includes a visible light source, a head control unit, a visible light range switching unit in the infrared range, a night vision camera, a light reflecting screen and a graphical information display apparatus on the light-reflecting screen. Head unit comprises a system data processing controller and a graphic information processing controller. Visible range light source switching unit in infrared range comprises data processing controller. Head control unit is equipped with means of remote control of infrared night vision system. Visible range light source switching unit in infrared range comprises visible light range source supply voltage switching device, means of controlling brightness of a visible light source in the infrared range and a switching means of a control type of the activation signal of a visible light source.
EFFECT: enabling remote activation of the system and use of the system in ground cargo, overwater and air transport.
