FIELD: units for functioning of night vision devices.
SUBSTANCE: light-emitting diodes are used as light source. Lighting fixtures and night vision devices operate in pulse mode and are periodically switched on and off in time anti-phase at frequency not below 16-20 Hz. Device proposed for realization of this method includes synchronization unit whose outputs are connected to night vision device and to lighting fixtures for periodic switching.
EFFECT: increased observation range due to spurious lighting; extended functional capabilities of lighting fixtures; increased radiation energy.
