FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid two-dimensional electric machine-generator comprises an armature with a winding and a brush-and-collector device of a DC machine and a rotor, which have a possibility of free rotation relative to each other. AC generator winding is additionally laid in armature slots and its output is connected to AC network by means of slip rings and brushes. Mechanical power source transmits torque to armature via shaft. Rotor housing inner cylindrical bore accommodates main poles arranged radially relative to each other and made from permanent magnets. Armature winding is connected to DC source through slip rings located on outer side of rotor housing. Brushes of brush-and-collector apparatus, fixed by brush holders in inner bore of rotor housing, are located perpendicular to main poles. Simultaneously, overrunning clutch is arranged on end shield to couple end shield with rotor bearing cover. Wherein DC source connection polarity is selected so that torques developed by mechanical power source and armature winding from main poles are aligned.
EFFECT: increase in quantity, uniformity of supply of electric energy of three-phase alternating voltage, improvement of reliability and stability of power system operation.
