Examples of diseases requiring sputum liquefaction due to difficulty of evacuation include, but are not limited to, cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, laryngitis, Cartagena syndrome, pulmonary emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, bronchial asthma, sinusitis, and sinusitis.

EFFECT: essence of the technical solution is a pharmaceutical composition for improving the rheological properties of sputum, consisting of a physiological solution and a nuclease enzyme as an active ingredient, which is a product of gene nuc A, or, as a synonym, nuc, found in the genome of bacteria Serratia marcescens or obtained synthetically, providing biosynthesis of catalytically active against high-polymer DNA sputum form of said enzyme when expressed in pro or eukaryotic cells in amount of 0_03–0_1 mg/ml.
