FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is method of electric parking brake application of industrial vehicle. Proposed vehicle comprises manually actuated emergency shutdown actuator and disconnect device for disconnection of electric voltage source from onboard circuit due to actuation of emergency shutdown actuator. If the vehicle speed when the emergency shutdown actuator is actuated is not greater than the predetermined first threshold value, the electric parking brake is switched on and the delay time of the disconnect device is set to the first value. If the vehicle speed when the emergency shutdown actuator is actuated is greater than the predetermined first threshold value, the time delay of the disconnect device is set to the second value which is greater than the first value. Braking request is transmitted to electric service brake and electric parking brake is actuated as soon as vehicle speed becomes less or equal to predetermined second threshold value. Device for control of electric parking braking device and industrial vehicle are also proposed.

EFFECT: enabling automatic activation of parking mode when actuating an emergency shutdown actuator, high reliability and safety.
