SUBSTANCE: one of the embodiments of the teeth whitening method involves the steps of: applying a first whitening composition film having a first concentration of the first whitening agent on teeth for whitening, then applying a second whitening composition having a second concentration of the second whitening agent on teeth, wherein first whitening composition remains on teeth; and where second concentration of second whitening agent is less than first concentration of first whitening agent. Another embodiment of the teeth whitening method includes all of the above steps; wherein the first and second whitening compositions are left on the teeth for a sufficient period of time such that the first and second whitening compositions are mixed to form a third whitening composition having a whitening agent concentration less than the first concentration. Also disclosed is a method for reducing the duration of teeth whitening treatment, involving the following stages: applying a first whitening composition film having a concentration of a first whitening agent on teeth for whitening; immediately thereafter, an applicator comprising a second whitening composition having a second whitening agent concentration on the teeth is placed; and activating the applicator for direct current passage through the first and second whitening compositions, wherein the first and second whitening compositions are held in the applicator and in contact with the teeth, wherein second concentration of second whitening agent is less than first concentration of first whitening agent; and wherein first whitening composition penetrates deep into enamel for removal of embedded spots.
