FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a stator for an engine with an eccentric screw. To make thread turns, two milling heads are inserted into the inner space of the pipe. At the beginning of machining, one of the milling heads is approached to the stator pipe and transferred relative to that end of the stator pipe to a predetermined position, from which a defined position the milling head is introduced along its linear axis inside the pipe and a thread turn is generated, until milling head reaches, at least, the centre of the stator tube length or extends beyond it by a predetermined value, and depending on passage of separate turns of thread and from position of milling head is determined point of thread turn output, which must be generated by this milling head. Second milling head starts its processing of internal surface of walls of stator pipe at this point and this milling head is moved along its linear axis and is rotated around its round axis until this milling head reaches the center of stator pipe.
EFFECT: invention can be used in processing inner surface of stator pipe.
