FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the LED (or LED array) driving circuit for the coded light emission. Such result provides simultaneous shift of upper and lower envelopes. For this purpose, the drive circuit comprises an output circuit for connecting the circuit to the load, wherein the output circuit comprises one or more energy storage components, a switching circuit configured to supply power from the power supply to the load by supplying current through at least one of the energy storage components, which prevents current change, or application of voltage to at least one of energy storage components, which prevents change of voltage, and a control circuit configured to control the switching circuit in such a way as to enable oscillation of said current or voltage between the upper envelope and the lower envelope. Control circuit is configured to modulate this current or voltage by said shift of upper envelope between, at least, first level of amplitude and second level of amplitude and simultaneously by shift of lower envelope by the same value in the same direction.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure constant switching frequency when applying amplitude modulation.
