FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has output circuit with four arms arranged as H- shaped bridge. Each arm of the H-shaped bridge has a switch. H- shaped bridge switch is optionally on for producing biphasic defibrillation impulse in defibrillation mode. Three of four switches are single-operation triode thyristors. Circuits for exciting shutters are coupled with the single-operation triode thyristors for shifting the single-operation triode thyristors by voltage allowing single-operation triode thyristors to response to control signals. The fourth switch has bipolar transistor with insulated shutter. Shutter excitation circuit is connected to the bipolar transistor with insulated shutter to allow slowly and quickly turning off the bipolar transistor with insulated shutter. By-pass circuit or power supply source circuit is applied in cardiac stimulation mode to give way to electric current to bypass a switch on single-operation triode thyristor base that is not transferable into open state using relatively weak cardiostimulation impulse current. One of single-operation triode thyristors could be substituted with a bipolar transistor with insulated shutter to produce cardiostimulation impulse of opposite polarity relative to the first defibrillation phase impulse.
