FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for constructing a low-altitude flight route on a virtual polygon. To construct the route, simulating a virtual terrain map, using a dynamic model of the tested aircraft, performing a flight along the specified route, decomposing a given route into elementary links in a certain manner, forming a mountain relief with given parameters, linking the developed route to geographic coordinates determined by the navigation system on board the aircraft, area of possible performance of low-altitude flight is determined for each elementary link and for general flight area above specified relief of area.
EFFECT: reduced costs and time for creating a virtual terrain for simulating flight.
