FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of strength properties of solid materials by application of mechanical loads to them, and namely to devices for measurement of destructive load at testing of materials. Proposed device comprises bed, drive, table with locating supports for attachment of tested specimens, as well as unit for measuring destructive load. Drive is made mechanical multistage with toothed engagement and includes hand wheel connected via gear wheel, gear wheel and gear with vertically located gear rack, at that, said rack is equipped with strain load measuring assembly composed of strain gauge bracket with conical tip. Note also that the surface of base locating supports and conical tip edges are made in the form of constant curvature surfaces.
EFFECT: obtaining actual destructive forces and eliminating stress concentrators, as well as improving the quality of obtained results.
