FIELD: vehicles in general.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to seat covers for a vehicle and, in particular, to temporary seat covers for a vehicle. Vehicle seat assembly includes a seat back hinged to the seat and a seat cover assembly located under the seat. Seat cover assembly is configured to vary between a storage position and an unfolded position. Spring-loaded spindle is connected to fastening end of seat cover assembly. Seat cover is configured to be wound on spindle in storage position and be removed from spring-loaded spindle in unfolded position. Rod for engagement is connected to the intermediate section of the seat cover and is made with possibility of reliable engagement of the contact line located between the seat and the seat back. Multiple engagement devices are jointed to seat cover lateral edges with possibility of disconnection.
