SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, in particular to a Cucumis melo plant capable of producing more than 12 fruits, wherein said fruits are seedless, to part of said plant, as well as to a food product containing said plant or part thereof. Also disclosed is a method for marker-auxiliary selection of C. melo plants capable of producing more than 5 seedless fruits.
EFFECT: invention enables efficient production of Cucumis melo plant capable of producing more than 12 fruits.
