SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the chemical industry, specifically to the production of bitumen compositions for a protective sealing coating used in road construction, as well as to compositions of bitumen compositions. Method of producing a bitumen composition, comprising steps of heating petroleum road bitumen to temperature of 130–145 °C, and dispersing it in a colloidal mill in an aqueous solution of a cationic emulsifier with pH = 2.0–2.4, heated to temperature of 57–61 °C, until emulsion with bitumen droplet sizes of 0.001–0.02 mm is achieved. Calcium chloride is added to the obtained emulsion as a stabilizer; the obtained composition is placed into a storage container with heating. Then, the obtained composition is mixed at 85–95 °C in a colloid mill separately with each new additive: with an aqueous solution of a silane adhesion additive based on organosilicon compounds, with rubber crumbs obtained from waste automotive tires, with shale clay and granite sand.

EFFECT: compositions according to the invention have strength similar to the main fabric, high adhesion even on dusty coatings and absence of shrinkage.
