FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for heating inlet air (HIA) of a power plant of military track vehicles (MTV). Device for providing serviceability of inlet air heating system supplied to engines of power plant of military track vehicles under conditions of low temperatures, comprising an air cleaner, an air supply pipe, a turbo compressor with an inlet air heater installed on it, inlet and outlet headers, pipelines, at that, in addition to intake manifolds there are installed outgoing air circuits with heat tubes filled with active body in form of a mixture of distilled water, ammonia, aldehydes, wherein heat tubes are connected to exhaust manifolds for transfer of heat energy of exhaust gases to air supplied to engine cylinders, at the outlet of turbo compressor in front of intake manifolds there are air chokes, automatically adjusting the air flow direction to the inlet or outgoing air circuits depending on the ambient air temperature and the air charge temperature, defined by appropriate temperature sensors, information from which is supplied to control unit and issuing commands, generating control voltage to actuating motor, which via a reduction gear and drive controls position of air chokes.
EFFECT: invention provides more complete fuel combustion, reduced engine stiffness, reduced average indicator pressure, reduced specific fuel consumption, engine wear, higher effective engine power at operation in low temperature conditions.
