Disclosed is a method of providing passenger information, characterized in that providing passenger information on a vehicle transmitted between a mobile device and a central computer, and before providing passenger information automatically determined using mobile device, which vehicle is provided with information, wherein determining the position and/or orientation of the mobile device, wherein at least part of the passenger information depends on the position and/or orientation of the mobile device, said part of passenger information is automatically corrected when changing position and/or orientation of mobile device.
EFFECT: providing a user with a mobile device with passenger information on a vehicle selectively based on the orientation and/or location of the mobile device.
