In each car of the rail vehicle, at least one base station and a mobile terminal of the authenticated user are provided, configured to service the functional units of the rail vehicle via wireless interface, graphical user interface of the mobile terminal. At that, the mobile terminal communicates with the base stations via the wireless interface, when registering the mobile terminal, a predetermined function is selected for its user, with which the corresponding access rights to specific functional units of the rail vehicle are associated.
