FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering, in particular to a colour dispatching system for controlled conversion between colour representations of different devices, for example, an image scanner, digital camera, computer monitors, printers and corresponding carriers. Said technical result is achieved due to that storage device includes: quantized coefficients obtained from compression of a difference table, which includes a plurality of difference nodes, in which each difference node represents a value which is a difference in the value of the colour table node and the value of the corresponding reference table node, wherein the quantised coefficients are used to generate the reconstructed difference table; and a plurality of residue units, in which each residue unit represents a value which is a difference in the value of the colour table node and the value of the corresponding node of the reconstructed difference table, where the quantised coefficients and the plurality of residue units are available for the printer to reconstruct the colour table and perform colour conversion between the colour spaces during printing.

EFFECT: technical result is providing compatibility of colour space for source and target device.
