SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for operation of elevator safety system. Elevator plant includes control unit (2), bus (3), several bus units (41–50) connected to control unit (2) via bus (3), and several participants (61a–63a, 74a, 75, 76, 87, 88, 89a, 89b) connected to control unit (2) via bus unit (41–50). At that, at least one participant from several participants (61a–63a, 74a, 75, 76, 87, 88, 89a, 89b) is made in the form of temporary participant (89a, 89b). Method includes a step of initiating the safety system operation by control unit (2), if one first temporary participant (89a) or the second temporary participant (89b) is connected to bus (3). Invention also discloses elevator installation safety system and lift installation.
EFFECT: enabling safe operation of temporary participants.
