FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication technologies and, in particular, to a method for receiving terminal information and an associated product. The method contains stages, at which the first terminal information is received by the first network element; and a terminal policy is requested by the first network element based on the first information. The first information is used for the indication of the terminal policy stored in the terminal, which is a content in the form of a non-opened text, and it contains a list of policy section identifiers (hereinafter – PSI). Each PSI parameter in the PSI list contains PLMN ID and a unique ID formed by means of the network element of a policy control function (PCF).
EFFECT: increase in the security of information interaction between the network side and the terminal at the terminal policy request.
