SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote diagnostics of elevator (10). Elevator has at least one cabin to be displaced by drive (22, 24) in well (12). Elevator control device (30) incorporates at least one signal processor (60) and at least one memory (62). Note here that elevator control device (30) controls the elevator (10) operation. To perfect this method, data on elevator (10) serviceability, faults and/or events are registered and stored in memory (62) for analysis by signal processor (60). Note here that data on elevator (10) location and info built around the processed data on serviceability, faults and/or events is transmitted via Internet (78) to at least one data receiver (81, 82, 83). Received data displayed at monitor (85) on the map updated via Internet (78). Note also that said data can be accessed via Internet (78) for definite target groups.
EFFECT: elevator remote diagnostics.
