FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft-rocket equipment, namely, to devices for drying tank compartments with fuel intake system (removal of uninflammable water residue from its inner cavities). Tank compartments of aircraft-rocket equipment can be made of aluminum alloy, therefore temperature of drying for such tanks is limited by maximum temperature (no more than 110 °C). Disclosed vacuum drying chamber with infrared heating for removal of unmovable residue of water from inner cavities of tank compartment with fuel sampling system comprises vacuum chamber with infrared heaters, thermocouples fixed with the help of detachable hold-down clamps, which can move to select the zone with unmovable water residue in the tank compartment, and control temperature controllers of temperature maintenance on these zones of the tank. Drying chamber also contains a temperature and humidity meter for control inside the vacuum chamber.
EFFECT: reduced duration of drying, as well as reduction of power consumption and labor intensity of this process.
