FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to radio engineering. Ridge waveguide without side walls (RGW-waveguide) comprises conducting base, from which along required direction of wave propagation there is conductive ridge; an upper conducting wall located above the flange and the base and separated from them by a gap; EBG-structure (structure by type of electromagnetic crystal) based on the first double-sided printed circuit board located inside the waveguide in the area around the crest.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, reduced dimensions, reduced losses at high frequencies and improved performance.
