Gun with a low barrel comprises a fixed frame, a fixed barrel, a movable lock case with a lock, a handle, a trigger mechanism with a safety lock, a gas channel, a gas piston cavity, and aiming devices. Axis of barrel passes above upper point of handle with hand of shooter. Gate casing is closed by the upper part of the pistol casing connected to the barrel, the gate contains a gas piston and a return spring. During firing, part of gases through gas channel from barrel gets into gas-piston cavity, where it acts on piston of breech, compensating for recoil.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of firing, increased safety.
