where: Lcr is distance between expansion joints (m); H is thickness of asphalt-concrete ply (m); σt - strength of asphalt concrete for tension (Pa) at the lowest air temperature in the region of road construction; |Δt| is absolute value of maximum temperature difference per day (°C); k is coefficient of adhesion of asphalt-concrete layer with base (N/m3); α is coefficient of linear thermal expansion of asphalt concrete (1/°C).
EFFECT: invention relates to construction, particularly, to construction of an automobile road, in which an asphalt-concrete layer with expansion joints is made.
