FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, specifically to road pavement. Road pavement coating includes a surface layer and a subsurface layer. Surface layer is made of asphalt concrete (stone material) grain elements horizontally oriented along upper surface and different-depth cavities between them. Subsurface layer is composed of carcass structure of grain elements randomly distributed and compacted in binding components with their inclined faces and narrow slit-like pores arranged there between.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the road surface (density, strength, water saturation, wear resistance) due to formation of several interdependent structures (polystructural levels) in the structural composite of the asphalt concrete road surface, which prolongs the service life of the road structure.
