FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floating caterpillar chassis. Floating caterpillar chassis with front location of drive wheels comprises onboard hydrodynamic grids consisting of a set of identical vertical V-shaped blades. In front part of hydrodynamic grids there are water-jet propellers of auger type driven by caterpillar propellers via rubber tires of small radius. Water-jet axle ends displacement towards caterpillar chassis rear part is performed at the same turning angle, which ensures exclusion of rubber bus interaction with caterpillar propulsor surface.
EFFECT: longer service life is achieved.
