FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a floating tracked chassis. The floating tracked chassis contains on-board hydrodynamic grilles in the form of blades, the rear ends of which are turned outward towards the rear of the tracked chassis. In front of the hydrodynamic grilles, screw-type water-jet propellers are installed, driven by tracked propellers through rubber tires. Water-jet propellers are equipped with mechanisms for their transfer from the working position to the transport position and are placed in the rear part of the hydrodynamic grilles along the course of movement. The mechanisms for transferring water-jet propellers from the working position to the transport position are made with a hydraulic drive. On the side surface of the tracked chassis body, additional reverse blades are installed opposite the water-jet propellers.
EFFECT: expansion of operational capabilities is achieved by increasing the efficiency of operation when the tracked chassis moves on the water surface in reverse.
