SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of water boiling, i.e. to smoking of tobacco mixture using specialized smoking appliance, and concerns preparation of hookah for use. Method of preparing a hookah includes filling the bowl with a tobacco mixture, installing a heat distributor thereon, placing the three coals in the heat-distributing device beforehand on the tile and further smoking, at that, before cup filling, tobacco mixture is milled in automatic coffee grinder, the bowl filled with tobacco mixture is put into preheated to 250 ± 10 °C oven or oven and heated to 140–160 °C, on a tile with a flat heating element a heat distributor and coals are placed to maintain their constant temperature of about 200 °C, when the temperature of the bowl with the tobacco mixture approaches the above interval, the coals are placed in a tile with a thermistor heating element in the form of a spiral and is hot blown by a hair dryer for ignition of coals, after that, the coals are placed in the heat distributor, the heated cup with the tobacco mixture is placed on the hookah and immediately after the installation of the heat distributor it is lit out.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is shorter preparation time of hookah for smoking and provision of optimum temperature of tobacco mixture for preservation of its taste properties.
