FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment: device of devices intended for determination of combustion rate of solid fuel (SF) used in apparatuses for deep-water systems, barrel systems for various purposes, and so forth, operating at high pressures (from twenty to hundreds of megapascals). Installation for determining the burning rate of a SF contains a housing filled with 90 % water, several docked radially mounted in the horizontal plane of the combustion chambers. In each of them there is a control sample in the form of a channel-free cartridge, which is equipped on the side of the ignition with afterburning channel chips and a replaceable nozzle bush with a delivery hole installed on the housing. At that, the housing is made of a cover and a barrel, which, as well as all combustion chambers, are made of two cylinders by process of autofrettage. One of the measuring inserts installed in the combustion chambers has a thrust collar of reduced thickness equal to 0.6d, where d is the thickness of the bead of the rest of the measuring inserts, thus protecting the installation from destruction in case of emergency. Into housing there installed are filters of coarse and fine cleaning of combustion products of SF, equipped with metal grids.

EFFECT: invention increases strength of main assemblies, durability, safety during operation of the plant and increases accuracy of measuring the burning speed of the SF at high constant pressure.
