SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a borehole expanding metal pipe, an annular barrier, well production equipment, a method of expanding the seal. Borehole expansion metal tube is elongated in axial direction and intended for expansion in the well so that it rests against the inner surface of the casing string or borehole. Said pipe comprises a first section having a first outer diameter, two peripheral projections having a second outer diameter greater than the first outer diameter, and a second section located between two projections. Each projection has an inclined surface convergent on a cone from the second external diameter in direction of the second section. Second section has third outer diameter that is smaller than first outer diameter in non-released state. Between projections opposite to second section there is a sealing element so that in process of expansion it is possible to bend second section in radial direction outward than that of first section, so that sealing element is extruded radially outward.

EFFECT: technical result is improved sealing properties of borehole expanding metal pipe.
