SUBSTANCE: device is designed for expanding in the well from a first outer diameter to a second outer diameter in order to abut against the inner surface of the wellbore casing. The expanding pipe has an outer surface extending longitudinally and comprises at least one first circular edge and at least one second circular edge configured on the outer surface at a distance from each other in the longitudinal direction. Between the first and the second circular edges, there is a sealing element and a retaining element in the form of a split ring, which forms a stop for the sealing element and has more than one turn, so that when expanding the expanding pipe from the first outer diameter, the second outer diameter provides partial unscrewing of the retaining element in the form of a split ring.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sealing and improved sealing properties.
