SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an annular barrier for installation as part of a tubular metal structure of a well to provide zonal isolation in a wellbore of a small diameter for isolating a first zone from a second zone, comprising an expandable metal coupling having a first end, a second end and an outer surface facing the wellbore, a first end portion having a first end connected to a first end of the expandable metal coupling, and second end for installation in form of part of tubular structure of well, and a second end having a first end connected to a second end of the expandable metal coupling, and a second end for installation as part of a tubular structure of the well, wherein the first end of the first end is connected end-to-end with the first end of the expandable metal coupling, wherein the first end of the second end is connected end-to-end with the second end of the expandable metal coupling, note here that second ends of end parts have inner and outer threaded joints to be fitted on appropriate inner and outer threaded joints of tubular metal structure of the well. Present invention also relates to a tubular metal structure of a well, which has a plurality of tubular sections and at least one annular barrier according to the present invention, and to a method for completing the preparation of an annular barrier according to the present invention.

EFFECT: annular barrier for small-diameter wells is proposed.
