Method of engine control of motor vehicle with soft hybrid drive, having engine, which is connected with possibility of transmission of driving force to multi-speed gearbox, and electric machine, connected with possibility of being actuated with motor and electrically connected to accumulator, includes stage, at which limitation of engine rotation speed is established, installed, when change of gear ratio of gearbox is favourable for optimization of fuel consumption of engine based on state of accumulator charge.
EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption.
