SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to electric energy source. River plant for generation of electricity includes units of blades 1 of hydraulic accumulators, axes 2 of attachment of blades 1, process piles 5, reduction gear 7 and generator 8. Blades 1 in upper technological level in open position for hydraulic position pressure of existing water along bottom of river bed, which rotates axis 2. Plant is equipped with devices 6 installed on lower technological level and receiving water head for its removal from blades 1, located at this level, and shaped wheels with teeth 4 installed on axles 2 by means of chain transmission 3, connecting blade unit 1 with subsequent unit for transmission of traction force. Axes 2 are fixed on piles 5 installed deep into soil of river bottom.

EFFECT: technical result is provided by idle energy potential of rivers.
