SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processing, in particular to a method of transferring a screen image in form of transfer, to another device, for example, a recording server, content on a display screen of a personal computer (PC), which varies with time due to use in real time. Disclosed is a method which includes: obtaining a full-screen image, on which data of a full-screen image displayed on a display screen are successively obtained; creating a compressed full-screen image, on which a full-screen image obtained at the step of obtaining a full-screen image, compresses each predetermined recording time period to create a compressed full-screen image; partition, on which full-screen image data obtained at the step of obtaining a full-screen image are divided into images of a block of a predetermined size from one end of the screen region; generating position information, in which images of the block at two successive time points are compared in each block image obtained by splitting at the decomposition step to create position information data expressing the presence or absence of difference, and position information relative to the block, which is considered to have a difference; and creating a compressed difference image, on which a unit defined as a unit, which is considered to have a difference, at the stage of generating position information, is a difference unit, and the set of images created by arranging the unit images for the difference units at the identical time point is compressed as one image to create a compressed difference image.
