FIELD: roentgenology.
SUBSTANCE: what is presented is an X-ray diagnostic contrast agent containing (wt%): tantalum nanoparticles of at least one element selected from a group comprising yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium or bismuth (6–10), and an organic additive which contains silicon as an organic additive or silicone dimethylglycerolate (rest).
EFFECT: proposed agent has prolonged contrast enhancement, which increases diagnostic accuracy and reduces radiation exposure on patients.
