SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in medicine. It is proposed to use a complex tantalate of rare earth elements with the composition M1-x-yErxYbyTaO4, where 0.005≤x≤0.06, y=5x and M is at least one element selected from the group: lanthanum, yttrium, gadolinium, neodymium, samarium, europium, terbium, dysprosium, lutetium, in the nanoamorphous state as a material for the visualization of biological tissues.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain an agent that combines the possibilities for X-ray and upconversion luminescent imaging of biological tissues and organs, with the absorption of X-ray radiation in the range of 10-100 keV and the absorption of infrared radiation, in particular, with a wavelength in the range of 975-985 nm.
