Imaging device receives an operational instruction for generating configuration information of a wireless network connection, generates, according to said operational instruction, configuration information including a wireless network identifier (SSID) and a wireless network password, generates, in the process of generating configuration information, access point (AP) activation information, and activates the AP in accordance with the activation information, such that the terminal device can establish a wireless network connection with the image forming device in accordance with the configuration information.
