SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery device comprises a mouthpiece; aerosol generation chamber, which is in fluid communication with the mouthpiece end through the primary air passage, wherein the aerosol generation chamber comprises an aerosol source for generating aerosol from the source material for inhalation of the user through the mouthpiece when in use; and a sensor for detecting when a user inhales through the mouthpiece, wherein the sensor is in fluid communication with the mouth end through the secondary air passage, and wherein the sensor is located further from the mouth end as compared to the aerosol source and the secondary air passage bypasses the aerosol generation chamber.
