SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control unit for a steam supply system, a steam supply system and a control unit operation method. Control unit for a steam supply system comprises an inhalation sensor, a data input button and a control circuit which is configured to supply electric power to a vapor delivery system for generating steam in response to determination by signals, received from inhalation sensor, that user inhales by means of steam supply system, and for supply of electric energy to steam supply system for steam generation in response to determination by signals received from button for data input, that user actuates button for data input at least during threshold time interval. Control circuit is configured to supply electric power to a vapor delivery system for generating steam in response to determining or that a user is breathing using a steam supply system, or that the user actuates a button for inputting data for at least a threshold time interval.
EFFECT: possibility of supplying electric power in response to only one or other of the considered events: the user inhales through the system or activates the button for data input, but not in response to the completion of both said events.
