FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a coloured zirconium ceramic dental workpiece for milling, having fluorescent properties, to methods of making such a workpiece for milling. It can be used for production of zirconium ceramic dental prostheses. Dental preparation for milling has a shape allowing to attach or fix this dental workpiece for milling in a device for mechanical processing, wherein dental preparation for milling contains porous zirconium material. Porous zirconium material contains oxides: Zr oxide in terms of ZrO2 80–97 wt. %, Al oxide in terms of Al2O3 0–0.15 wt. %, Y-oxide in terms of Y2O3 1–10 wt. %, Bi oxide in terms of Bi2O3 0.01–0.20 wt. %, Tb-oxide in terms of Tb2O3 0.01–0.8 wt. %, optionally at least one of Er oxide in terms of Er2O3 0.01–3.0 wt. % and Mn oxide in terms of MnO2 0.0001–0.08 wt. %. Porous zirconium material does not contain more than 0.01 wt. % of Fe oxide in terms of Fe2O3. Blank is obtained by mixing powders of corresponding oxides and pressing the mixture.
EFFECT: optimization of fluorescent properties of the workpiece.
