SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of dental products. Dental billet for milling is disclosed, which contains previously sintered porous zirconium dioxide material, wherein previously sintered porous zirconium dioxide material has Vickers hardness from 25 to 150 and is characterized by isotherm of absorption type IV and/or desorption N₂ in accordance with classification of International Union of pure and applied chemistry (IUPAC). Dental billet for milling comprises means for reversible attachment to device for mechanical processing. Also method of making zirconium dioxide dental product includes steps of producing said dental billets for milling, containing porous previously sintered zirconium dioxide material, placement of dental billets for milling in device for mechanical processing and mechanical processing of porous zirconium dioxide material and dental product, produced by this method.

EFFECT: using this group of inventions provides dental billet, material of which has sufficient strength at mechanical processing, corresponding strength manual individualization, as well as reduced wear of tools for mechanincal processing and/or reduction of dust formation as result of mechanical processing of such billet.
