FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. Disclosed is a device for drying food products, including a housing with air intake holes, detachable trays for placing products, a cover with a hole for removing moist air, located in housing motor, heating element and vane wheel connected with electric motor, control unit of heating element and electric motor, providing main drying mode, indication panel for input of temperature values and operating time of device. Control unit is configured to automatically switch to a sparing drying mode after completion of the main mode, characterized by maintaining temperature 30±5 °C inside the housing with simultaneous rotation of the impeller. Also disclosed is a drying method using the device.
EFFECT: invention provides higher quality of finished product and storage life extension.
