FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and veterinary science, particularly to treatment of fish salmonellosis. Method involves feeding a fish fodder containing a probiotic preparation to fish. Probiotic used is STF-1/56 preparation in an amount of not less than 100 doses (200 ml of live Enterococcus faecium 1–56 bacteria) per 1 ton of fodder; the therapeutic fodder is fed for at least 10 days.
EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of products for treating salmonellosis.
