METHOD OF FIXING A SURGICAL TEMPLATE FOR MOUNTING DENTAL IMPLANTS IN AN EDENTULOUS UPPER JAW Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61C8/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and is intended for use in making guide surgical patterns for installation of dental implants on the upper jaw with complete loss of teeth, as well as with considerable atrophy of bone tissue of the alveolar process of the toothless maxilla. Two pairs of intraosseous support elements are installed in a palatum durum symmetrically relative to a median palatine suture. At that, in each pair the first support element is installed between the second and third transverse palatine fold in the projection of the root of the lost first premolar, deviating from the corresponding vertex of the alveolar process by 10 mm to the palatine side, and the second support element is installed in the area of maxillofacial cavity. Fixing part is made in the form of a palatum durum of the patient with transition to the alveolar process to the medial line of the masticatory surface, including a maxillofacial cavity. Note here that fixing part inner surface is made congruent with surfaces mating thereto. At that, the inner surface of the fixing part corresponding to the palatum durum surface is made congruent to the palatum durum surface with support elements installed in it, besides, the fixing part is rigidly fixed by the screw joint to the palatum durum in the front third of the palatum durum, for which in the corresponding part of the body of the fixing part, one through hole is made symmetrically relative to the median palatine suture, having deviated from the corresponding apex of the alveolar process by 10 mm to the palatine side.

EFFECT: method enables fixing the template on a toothless jaw with the possibility of aligning the implant installation with the alveolar process plasty from the vestibular side.
