FIELD: dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to dental surgery, and is intended for use in the simultaneous application of bone grafting in the absence of an alveolar ridge without detachment of the mucous membrane of the edentulous jaw, for performing surgery in patients with complicated navigation on the edentulous jaw in atrophy and defects of soft and bone tissues. The guiding template constitutes a monolithic volumetric part with holes, made of sterilisable orthopedic polyacrylate material MED610 based on the anthropometric data of the patient, corresponding in shape to the jaw of the patient. The guiding template is made per full protocol. The guiding template is made using a combination of different methods for diagnostic research. The methods for diagnostic research are combined by combining CT examination data converted into a three-dimensional image with a three-dimensional model of the mucosal impression in a simulation program.

EFFECT: use of the template provides a possibility of limiting the drilling depth for cases of thinning of the bone tissue and presence of voids in the bone tissue of the skull in order to protect from hitting sinuses, cavities and channels under the nerve, and creating an auxiliary revision contour if an intervention to correct the defect along the main contour is impossible.
