SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method of geodetic monitoring of deformation state of the Earth's surface on the territory of open-cast mining of large ore deposits using laser scanning technology, wherein on controlled territory is created field compilation survey (FCS), perform geodetic measurements using laser scanning of the monitored territory with reference to the FCS system coordinates, results of geodetic measurements are obtained for a period of time, which are transmitted to a PC with geospatial data processing, display and conversion software, and obtaining a cloud of scanning result points, which is used to create digital metric 3D models of objects and the Earth's surface of the monitored territory, wherein on the monitored territory, a geodynamic polygon is created, on which the FCS is made in a conventional coordinate system using high-accuracy satellite positioning technology.

EFFECT: high efficiency and reliability of geodetic monitoring.
